always checking out diana’s handy work. <3 she put in this whole fence!!! with cement at the base of the posts and everything! i’m impressed.a pretty sweet duo.ya, kombucha for breakfastand a smoothie completely sourced from the ‘stead.we make these epic to-do lists while we’re together: but first we dance, play mermaids in the pool, and try on lipstick. i always feel completely steady and nourished with diana. our friendship is pushing a decade. <3i can’t get over the fruit. it’s literally every where…. on the sidewalks in the forests lining the streets… i ate fruit all day long. tasted every sweetnessevery moment with my best friend feels like pure love. we geek out over the intrinsic mysteries of life.a city of queen anne’s lace. <3 baskets full. souls full.

the love is sweet.our last moments in the hobbit hole together: she jumps up, “you’re gunna miss your flight!!!!” i’m dazed; i’d forgotten that i had a life somewhere else. lost in fairy land with morgaine of the fae.
everywhere an inspiration of intentional living: weaving and crochet, bright colors.microcosm publishing is a rad little portland mainstay, anarchist zines and whatnot. i’ve been wanting this little guy for a while via the internet, so happy to find it while wandering the streets!

delighted by the bikes. and the town market and peach festival. and the dinosaurs adorning the tomatoes. and our little urban garden. hope, folks, and proud of this little part of town that wants true community. we can lead the way. we can adopt sustainable models. we can forge new ground and find balance.
