community.
i live steps away from books. rushing water. old urban growths, with little playgrounds tucked in filled with cool shade and butterflies.i’m surrounded by vegetables. vegetables i grow. vegetables i gather for the restuarant. whipping up my own specials, selling my ideas.
my house is clean quiet simple. messy. noisy.
even suburban moments seem magical.
home is a good place to grow. to rest.
all sorts of magic.
my favorite bridge connecting to our favorite playground. wonderland neighborhood.
we spy on the square dancers and their haunting tunes. chasing after the full moon.
state fair shenanigans.
me and my little sunflower, wandering down alleys. we are the cosmos growing aware of itself.
our library, four houses down! all the books we could want.

my tribe, the spinners, the crones. the silver hairs. they teach me.

if you let your kids hang out with me we’ll wander the sidewalks barefoot. we’ll swing, say hi to ducks. splash through the water. we’ll get whatever we want at the hokey dairy queen knock off and practice balancing on the curbs.

being challenged. being pushed. reaching new heights. a true partnership. more to come.

tomato worms, work selfies. 😉
trying to catch up on all of summer’s adventures, but these little around-town moments warm my heart.
more to come, as usual.
